What We Offer
Comprehensive mental health care — from individual therapy to humanitarian crisis response.
Evidence-based care for every stage of life.
Our psychotherapy and counseling services offer a safe, culturally sensitive space for individuals, couples, families, and groups to explore emotional challenges, build resilience, and achieve lasting well-being. Our clinicians are trained in a range of evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Narrative Therapy, and Psychodynamic approaches.
Deploying where healing is needed most.
Berson Mental Health Services provides specialized Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) in humanitarian settings — including natural disasters, armed conflicts, displacement crises, and post-war recovery contexts. Our teams are trained in international MHPSS standards and work in coordination with UN agencies, NGOs, and local authorities to deliver layered, community-based mental health interventions.
Restoring wholeness — one community at a time.
Collective trauma — whether from conflict, loss, displacement, or systemic hardship — requires collective healing. Our community-based programs bring together individuals in structured healing circles, grief and loss support groups, and culturally grounded psychoeducation sessions. We work with communities across Cameroon and beyond to rebuild social cohesion, process shared grief, and restore a sense of safety and belonging.
Strengthening the mental health field from within.
High-quality mental health care depends on well-supported practitioners. Berson Mental Health Services offers individual and group clinical supervision for counselors, psychotherapists, social workers, and other mental health professionals. Our supervisors bring deep clinical expertise and cross-cultural competence, helping practitioners navigate complex cases, ethical dilemmas, and professional growth.
Building knowledge. Reducing stigma. Advancing the field.
Berson Mental Health Services organizes and hosts professional development seminars, public mental health conferences, and awareness campaigns across Cameroon and the wider region. Our events bring together clinicians, researchers, policymakers, and community leaders to share knowledge, challenge stigma, and advance mental health practice in Africa and beyond.
Our team will help you find the right service for your needs — whether you're an individual, a community organization, or a humanitarian partner.
